Actor Hina Khan, who has been fighting stage 3 breast cancer for about a year now, recently spoke about the taboos surrounding artists in the entertainment industry. Speaking to ANI, she said, "This taboo that a cancer patient has to sit at home and do nothing...is not true. A few days are difficult, but after that, you can get back to work."

'Your mental strength is most important'
Khan (38) further said, "You should have that will, that strength and the love of your family." "I will always keep doing this (acting), provided my body supports me." "Your mental strength is the most important thing. Therefore, you must be mentally strong and remain happy. If you think this (cancer) is nothing, it becomes nothing."
