In a recent interaction, celebrated filmmaker Karan Johar revealed his own take on creating a cinematic universe. At the Indian Chamber of Commerce's centennial celebration in New Delhi, Johar was asked by WION if Dharma Productions plans to create its own universe. To this, he said that he has been creating a "universe of love" through his films all along.

'Love is a universe in itself': Johar
Johar, who is known for his romantic dramas, said, "I've made love stories, darling. Love is a universe in itself." He went on to add that every one of his films expands this one universe. "Every film of mine has been an extension of that one universe. I believe Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani are all part of the same universe—the universe of love."
New releases
Johar's upcoming projects and anticipated debut
On a professional note, Johar has several exciting releases lined up for this year, including Dhadak 2, Chand Mera Dil, and Tu Meri Main Tera.... He is also looking forward to the debut of newcomer Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, in Nadaaniyan. This would be a new chapter in the young actor's career under Johar's mentorship at Dharma Productions.
