    What's the story

At the peak of his career, Kapil Sharma's days turned gloomy with failures, but he is certainly not giving up.

The star comedian is eyeing to make a comeback on the small screen again, a source close to Kapil told IE.

After 'The Kapil Sharma Show' ended, he started 'Family Time With Kapil' on Sony, but had to leave it due to health issues.

    Bad phase

Series of events in life left Kapil distraught

The source said Kapil was shattered after what happened with his shows, his movie 'Firangi', the infamous fight with a journalist and bitterness with Simoes sisters.

He took time off and traveled with his family.

"Kapil is rejuvenated and raring to get back to entertaining his audience. He has also decided to hire a personal trainer and get back in shape," the source added.

    The plan

With no bad blood, Kapil and channel are ideating

Now a rejuvenated Kapil has reached out to Sony TV for yet another collaboration but the project might take 2-3 months to find structure.

"After Family Time, both Kapil and the channel do not want to take a chance with the concept. They are ideating and hopefully, a positive outcome will come out of it soon," the source said.

    Proving there's no bad blood!

    Quote

Earlier, Sony had hinted doors for Kapil will be open

"Kapil will always remain premium talent for Sony and we completely believe in his competence. The day he is physically and mentally fit and ready to drive a show, Sony will be more than happy to associate with him," a senior Sony official had said.

    Rising again

Kapil is determined to fight odds

The past couple of months were tough for Kapil with him trying to battle alcoholism at a rehab.

But this report is sure to make all his ardent fans happy. This also shows Kapil's determination to rise like a phoenix again.

Like Sony, most of his fans would have moved on from the negative incidents and would now love to see him back.
