It's raining weddings in Bollywood. After the much-talked about wedding ceremonies of Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas, it is Kapil Sharma who is getting married now.
The comedian-turned-actor will be tying the knot with girlfriend Ginni Chatrath on December 12.
The couple has already kick-started the pre-wedding festivities in Jalandhar and the pictures of the ceremonies are going viral on social media.

Ginni looks radiant in her first pre-wedding ritual
The wedding festivities began with the ladkiwalas hosting an Akhand Paath this weekend.
This is an important ritual in a Sikh wedding as this marks the beginning of the wedding ceremonies.
It was a family affair for Ginni and was performed in the presence of her relatives.
The bride-to-be looked stunning as she wore a purple-colored sharara with cream dupatta for the Akhand Path.

Bangle ceremony
Ginni's bangle ceremony was all about dance and fun
The Akhand Path was followed by the bangle ceremony which took place on Monday evening.
The ceremony was about Ginni's relatives gifting her bridal bangles. Besides, her friends also tied kaleeras to her bangles.
The bride-to-be chose a bridal red-colored sharara with golden embroidery for the ceremony.
The bangle ceremony was followed by bhangra where Ginni was seen matching her steps with dhol beats.

Kapil's celebrations
Kapil to start the celebrations with Mata Ki Chowki
Meanwhile, Kapil is busy sending invites to his friends from the Punjabi music industry.
It is reported that the wedding ceremonies at his side will begin from December 10 with a Mata Ki Chowki which will be organized at his sister's residence.
Later, Kapil-Ginni will have a mehndi and cocktail party followed by a big fat Punjabi wedding in Jalandhar on December 12.

Kapil-Ginni to host two wedding receptions
It is also reported that post the grand wedding, Kapil and Ginni will be hosting two extravagant wedding receptions.
The first reception will be held on December 14 in Punjab for the couple's close friend and family members.
They will reportedly host another reception in Mumbai for their friends from showbiz industry in December, the date of which is yet to be finalized.
Honeymoon plans
Kapil spills beans about their honeymoon plans
Post the lavish wedding, speculations about Kapil-Ginni's honeymoon plans are quite obvious.
However, the comedian has cleared the air and said that they won't be going on a honeymoon anytime soon as he will begin shooting for his show soon after the wedding.
Kapil will be returning to the small screen with 'The Kapil Sharma Show 2' which will be aired on Sony TV.
