Malayalam 'Disco' collects ₹70L opening day and Kerala ₹65L

Malayalam film Disco, starring Antony Varghese and Arjun Ashokan, pulled in ₹70 lakh worldwide on its opening day, most of it from Kerala alone (₹65 lakh).
The movie dropped on November 6 and made ₹60 lakh just in India.
Mixed reviews for 'Disco' outside Kerala
While Kerala showed up strong, other regions like Karnataka added smaller numbers.
Directed by Ullas Chemban and featuring Dev Mohan and Chemban Vinod Jose, Disco tells the story of Ousu and a group of outsiders who join hands with a rival gang to execute a risky heist.
Fans are split: some are loving the action and performances, but others feel it's missing depth.
If Disco wants to keep the momentum going beyond its home turf, it'll need to win over more viewers outside Kerala.
