#MeToo: Sapna slams Amitabh: 'Your truth will be out soon'

Bollywood's #MeToo movement has created a havoc in the country with several big shots being exposed. However, the campaign saw a new turn lately, after celebrity hairstylist Sapna Bhavnani lashed out at megastar Amitabh Bachchan on Twitter. Sapna slammed Bachchan over his statement on #MeToo and said that his truth will be out soon, and that he should be prepared for it.

    Amitabh condemned sexual harassment

Notably, Amitabh, who has been criticized for keeping mum on the burning issue of #MeToo, condemned sexual harassment against women in his recent interview. He said that no woman should ever face such misconduct, especially at her workplace. He also asserted that the incidents of sexual misconduct should be brought to notice and the concerned authorities much act upon them immediately.

A day later, Sapna Bhavnani attacks Big B

A day after he posted the message, former 'Bigg Boss' contestant Sapna Bhavnani wasn't really pleased with his take on #MeToo. She lashed out at the megastar and took a jibe at his movie 'Pink' which talks about women speaking against harassment. "Sir the film Pink has released and gone and your image of being an activist will soon too," Sapna wrote.

    This is what she tweeted

This has to be the biggest lie ever. Sir the film Pink has released and gone and your image of being an activist will soon too. Your truth will come out very soon. Hope you are biting your hands cuz nails will not be enough. @SrBachchan #Metoo #MeTooIndia #comeoutwomen https://t.co/gMQXoRtPW3

Is Amitabh Bachchan next to be named in #MeToo campaign?

Notably, Amitabh has been keeping a safe distance for the burning issue just like his counterparts Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar etc. However, Sapna's statement has left everyone wondering if Amitabh Bachchan is the next celebrity to be tagged in the #MeToo movement. Given the way #MeToo has shaped up lately, one can't predict who will be called out next.
