Nayanthara's latest fantasy-comedy, Mookuthi Amman 2, just hit theaters on November 6 and will be streaming on JioHotstar after its big-screen run.
Released during Diwali and directed by Sundar C, the film's OTT rights were picked up for a solid (but undisclosed) amount.
Fans are now waiting for the official online release date.
'Mookuthi Amman 2' opening earns ₹1.88cr
Even with a star cast including Regina Cassandra, Urvashi, and Yogi Babu, Mookuthi Amman 2 had a pretty quiet opening, earning ₹1.88 crore in India on day one across Tamil and Telugu shows.
The movie continues the story of Goddess Mookuthi Amman protecting a young prince in a mix of fantasy, comedy, and devotion, so if you're into myth-meets-fun stories, it might be worth adding to your watchlist once it drops online.
