December, being the last month of the year, has a lot to offer to cinegoers. A few spectacular movies are lined up for this month. Although some releases have been hindered by the 'Padmavati' row, there are some that would surely make December memorable. A sequel of 'Fukrey', 'Fukrey Returns' is an upcoming 2017 horror comedy film, directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. Although there is no excitement going around about the film and it is the least-anticipated film of 2017, 'Fukrey Returns' will hit the theatres on December 8. Rajesh Khattar and Neelima Azeem's son Ishaan Khattar forayed into the film industry with renowned Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi's big project 'Beyond The Clouds'. 'Beyond The Clouds', premiered at the International Film Festival of India, Goa. The film stars Khattar in a lead role and is all set to release on December 8. Going by the history, this film should not disappoint the viewers.
'Monsoon Shootout' is a Hindi noir thriller, directed by Amit Kumar. The film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Tannishtha Chatterjee in the lead roles. 'Tiger Zinda Hai' is a spy-thriller and is a sequel of 'Ek Tha Tiger', which also starred Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan as lead actors. Katrina essays the character of Zoya and Salman plays the role of Tiger; they both look fierce on the posters with deadliest weapons in their hands. The film is slated to release on December 22. It was initially slated for release on December 1, but it may now get released on December 22. It is based on a Gujarati play written by Saumya Joshi.
