Superstar Rajinikanth and ace director Nelson Dilipkumar are currently busy with the sequel to their blockbuster film Jailer. Titled Jailer 2, it will see the return of Tiger Muthuvel Pandian and is expected to release on June 12, 2026. Now, fresh reports suggest that the duo might collaborate on another project after this one.

Per a report by Valai Pechu, Dilipkumar recently narrated a new script to Rajinikanth during the filming of Jailer 2. The superstar was impressed with the narration and is eager to work on this project. After completing Jailer 2 and his film with Kamal Haasan, he may collaborate with Dilipkumar again. However, this remains unconfirmed as of now.
