'Nepotism exists in every field': Kartik Aaryan on Bollywood favoritism

Entertainment

Kartik Aaryan recently got real about nepotism in Bollywood, sharing how it makes things tougher for outsiders like him.
Even though personal connections can decide who gets a shot, he's managed to build a successful career since his 2011 debut with Pyaar Ka Punchnama and hits like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, and Satyaprem Ki Katha.

Honest about setbacks, focused on the future

Aaryan admitted he's missed out on roles to star kids but doesn't hold any grudges.
He pointed out, "It exists. It exists in maybe every industry, but because I am a part of this industry, I would say that it does exist," and feels it's best not to compare journeys in such a competitive space.
For now, he's staying focused—his next film Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri drops December 2025, starring alongside Ananya Pandey, Jackie Shroff, and Neena Gupta.
