Netflix and IICT offer 100 scholarships up to 80% off
Netflix and the Indian Institute of Creative Technologies (IICT) are teaming up to offer scholarships for 100 students and working professionals across India.
If you're into animation, VFX, gaming, or media tech, you could get up to 80% off on six industry-focused courses, ranging from one-year diplomas in Interactive Comics and Sequential Arts and Visual Effects Mastery, to six-month certificates like E-Sports and Gaming Management.
Netflix boosts India AVGC talent pipeline
This move is part of Netflix's push to boost India's AVGC (Animation, VFX, Gaming, and Comics) talent pipeline.
IICT worked closely with Netflix to design courses that actually match what the industry needs.
As Monika Shergill from Netflix India says, they're all about helping emerging storytellers gain real-world skills.
IICT is currently based in Mumbai and has big plans: a new 10-acre campus at Film City is on the way to nurture even more creative minds.
