Padukone's sister says she did not recognize depression at 1st
Anisha Padukone, professional golfer and actor Deepika Padukone's sister, recently shared that she didn't recognize Deepika's depression at first because she just didn't know much about mental health.
Living in different cities made it even tougher for her to notice what was going on.
This experience inspired Anisha to learn more so she could support her sister better.
Padukone credits mother and has foundation
Deepika has spoken openly about her battle with depression, crediting her mother for noticing the signs and encouraging her to get help.
For Anisha, seeing her sister go through this was a wake-up call, and now Deepika has a Live Love Laugh Foundation.
On the film front, Deepika will soon appear in King, starring alongside Shah Rukh Khan, and has Raaka, directed by Atlee and headlined by Allu Arjun, in the pipeline.
