Theater owners refuse to screen 'Patriot'
The Film Exhibitors United Organisation of Kerala (FEUOK) recently advised theaters against screening Patriot due to a revenue-sharing dispute. Producers reportedly requested a 60:40 revenue split for the first two weeks, deviating from the traditional model of 60:40, 55:45, and 50:50 for successive weeks. K. Vijayakumar, President of FEUOK, said, "We've asked our members not to sign the agreement as it would adversely affect exhibitors. Our returns have been hit as the recent releases failed to click at the box-office."
