Rajat Bedi on Radhe rumors: Salman didn't drop me
Rajat Bedi wants everyone to know he wasn't "dropped" from Salman Khan's 2021 film Radhe.
Instead, he says Salman himself advised him not to take a small part, telling him, "You're not going to do this one as it is not an appropriate role for you. I want to give you a comeback vehicle which will be much better than Radhe."
Bedi respects Salman's call
Bedi admitted he was "heartbroken" to miss out, but respected Salman's call and is still hoping to work with him again.
Shutting down rumors of any fallout, Bedi said, "Please stop spreading wrong information," and added that Salman "has huge respect for me and my family."
Bedi still wants to work with Salman
According to Bedi, Salman's move was about looking out for him—he didn't want Bedi to take a role that would be a step down. Instead, he encouraged Bedi to wait for something bigger.
While they haven't done a film together yet, Salman did show up on Bedi's OTT show, The Ba***ds of Bollywood.
Bedi has addressed his Radhe exit before
