Rajinikanth turns 75 with a surprise party on 'Jailer 2' sets

Rajinikanth just turned 75, and the Jailer 2 team made sure it was special.
Director Nelson Dilipkumar and crew surprised him on set with a cake and warm wishes, all captured in a sweet video shared by Sun Pictures.

What's coming in 'Jailer 2?'

Rajinikanth is back as 'Tiger' Muthuvel Pandian, joined again by Ramya Krishnan.
The sequel might also feature cameos from Mohanlal and Shivarajkumar, plus possible appearances by Nandamuri Balakrishna, Vijay Sethupathi, and Vidya Balan.
Produced by Sun Pictures with music by Anirudh Ravichander, Jailer 2 is set for a worldwide release in June 2026, following the blockbuster success of the first film.
