What's the story

The filming of Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor's upcoming project, Peddi, has been rescheduled due to a recent blast near the Red Fort. The team was initially granted permission to shoot in and around the historical site on November 17, reported Entertainment Times. However, following the incident, they have revised their schedule. Another source suggested that Peddi's team had also booked the same location for shoots on Friday and Saturday, but those plans have been canceled.

'Cocktail 2' has also rescheduled its Delhi shoot

The blast has impacted the shooting schedule of Cocktail 2 as well, starring Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Kriti Sanon. The team was supposed to begin their Delhi schedule on Wednesday, November 12, but had to postpone it due to rising pollution levels and security concerns after the blast. A source told Hindustan Times that the team is now planning to shoot in December if conditions improve.

More about the tragic blast

For context, a car blast near Red Fort Metro station earlier this week claimed at least 13 lives and injured 21 others, putting the city on high alert. Meanwhile, Peddi's filmmakers launched the first single, Chikiri, on November 7, which turned out to be a huge success. Now, as per 123Telugu, the makers are planning on dropping the second song from the film on December 31.
