Ram Charan's 'Peddi' locks March 2026 release date

Entertainment

Ram Charan's new sports action drama, Peddi, was originally announced for March 27, but may shift from this date due to competing releases in March 2026.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and set for a pan-India release, the team has shut down any rumors about delays—so the date's locked in.

Who's in and what's happening?

Janhvi Kapoor stars opposite Charan, with Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyyendu Sharma, and Boman Irani joining the cast.
The film is produced by Vriddhi Cinemas, Mythri Movie Makers, and Sukumar Writings. A.R. Rahman is handling the music.
Filming began in Hyderabad, with upcoming schedules in Hyderabad and Delhi.

What's next for 'Peddi?'

The Hyderabad schedule starts December 12 before heading to Delhi for key scenes—wrapping up main shooting by January 2026.
Fans already got a taste of Charan's rugged look when the first single "Chikiri" and teaser dropped back in April this year.
