Ranaut and Pannu feud reignites after Instagram 'sasti copy' insult
Kangana Ranaut and Taapsee Pannu's ongoing feud is back in the spotlight.
After Pannu spoke about their differences in a recent interview, Ranaut fired back on Instagram, calling her a sasti (cheap) copy and questioning why Pannu's parents didn't "birth someone original."
She also accused Pannu of mocking her upbringing.
Pannu says she never met Ranaut
Taapsee replied that she's never actually met Kangana, saying, "I haven't met her. I didn't meet her before when these so-called issues started. I haven't met her now as well. My opinion on her is reflective of my upbringing and my way of talking, my way of perceiving things and hers. She stands by hers. So, I think that's enough for everybody to look at and decide who comes from where."
She added that their different backgrounds shape how they see things.
For context: this rivalry kicked off in 2019 when Kangana's sister called Taapsee a "sasti (cheap) copy," and things escalated during the Bollywood nepotism debate.
