Renuka Shahane, one of the most celebrated actors in Bollywood, recently shared a hilarious anecdote from the sets of her breakthrough film Hum Aapke Hain Koun...! Speaking to Filmy Shilmy, she recalled being asked to leave the set during the filming of her character's funeral scene, as she couldn't stop laughing. "Everyone was there...and I went to see how things were going," she said.

Shahane further explained, "They were very very serious and I was just smiling and watching the whole thing, watching everyone cry their hearts out." "When they saw me, they were like 'She is sitting here and laughing at us.' They shooed me away 'You go away from the set, we are trying to do our job.'"

Shahane also revealed that her co-star Reema Lagoo was deeply affected by her character's death scene in the film. She said, "It took her quite some time to come back to normal and to accept the fact that this is a character and this character has died." Lagoo had played Shahane's mother in the hit film.
