Producer Deepak Mukut took to Instagram to express his happiness, "You didn't just watch it, you lived it! #SanamTeriKasam is breaking records, and it's all because of your unstoppable love!" Earlier this month, he told Mid-day that the decision to re-release the film was prompted by fans who came to their office asking for a Valentine's week release. Despite initial doubts about competition from other films like Deva and Loveyapa, strong bookings on online platforms convinced him to proceed.

Mukut revealed that while the film's first release in 2016 incurred a ₹25cr loss, the re-release has been a money-spinner. "We have almost 400 screens across 350 cinemas. Exhibitors have been increasing shows organically," he said.
