The much-anticipated seventh installment of the Scream franchise is just around the corner, and a new trailer has been released. The upcoming film will see Neve Campbell reprising her iconic role as Sidney Prescott. The new trailer gives us a glimpse into the plot and teases the identity of the new Ghostface killer.

'Scream 7' will see return of these familiar faces
Scream 7, written by franchise creator Kevin Williamson, will also see the return of Matthew Lillard and Scott Foley. They will reprise their roles as Stu Macher and Roman Bridger from Scream and Scream 3, respectively. The film will also bring back Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers, Jasmin Savoy Brown as Mindy Meeks-Martin, Mason Gooding as Chad Meeks-Martin, and David Arquette as Dewey Riley, despite his character's previous on-screen death.

Character updates
New characters, major cast exits in upcoming sequel
The sequel will introduce new characters, including Joel McHale as Mark Evans and Isabel May as Tatum Evans. Other new faces include McKenna Grace, Michelle Randolph, Jimmy Tatro, Ethan Embry, and Mark Consuelos. However, two major stars from the previous films, Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega, will not be returning for this installment.
