'Single Papa' review: A heartwarming take on single parenthood

Entertainment

Netflix just dropped "Single Papa," a Hindi dramedy about Gaurav (Kunal Kemmu), a 30-year-old from Delhi who, after a tough divorce, decides to adopt an abandoned baby on his own.
The series follows his ups and downs as he faces family pushback, legal hurdles, and society's skepticism about single men adopting.
Along the way, he faces challenges from Romilla (Neha Dhupia), a skeptical social worker, and navigates family chaos with his sister Namrata (Prajakta Koli), whose own wedding plans add to the mayhem.

Why it's worth your time

"Single Papa" manages to balance serious topics with plenty of lighter moments.
In my opinion, Kemmu brings real warmth to Gaurav's character, while Dhupia and Koli make their roles feel genuine.
The writing feels sharp and keeps things moving—perfect for a binge-watch.
If you're looking for something heartfelt yet fun, this one's worth checking out on Netflix!
