Sonu Sood steps in as IndiGo flight chaos leaves travelers stranded

Entertainment

Actor Sonu Sood posted a video on X, formerly Twitter, asking people to go easy on IndiGo ground staff after the airline canceled over 1,000 flights in the last four days.
"Please be nice and humble to the IndiGo staff; they are carrying the weight of cancelations too. Let's support them," he said, highlighting how staff are just messengers caught in the middle.

What's going on with IndiGo?

IndiGo's mass cancelations have left thousands stuck at airports, missing meetings and events.
The airline apologized and promised things will get back to normal soon.
For now, they're letting passengers cancel or reschedule for free until December 15.

How are officials and the public reacting?

Aviation authorities have ordered refunds and help for affected flyers, while regulators are monitoring and requiring reports on what went wrong.
Online, Sood's message has split opinions—some say he's just doing PR for IndiGo, while others think he's right to defend frontline workers but should also push management to step up.
