The filming of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the fourth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Spider-Man franchise, has officially wrapped up. Director Destin Daniel Cretton announced the news on Instagram. The film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker and will be released in theaters on July 31, 2026. It also features actors Zendaya, Sadie Sink, and Liza Colon-Zayas, among others.

Cretton shared a series of pictures with Holland and the entire crew on Instagram. He thanked everyone involved in the project, calling it the biggest and most rewarding film he has ever worked on. "To our amazing cast, for breathing so much life into these beloved characters and moving us every day," he wrote. "To our unbelievable crew, who worked tirelessly with unmatched creativity and craftsmanship."

Cretton also lauded Holland's role in the film. 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' faced production challenges
The filming of Spider-Man: Brand New Day began in Glasgow, Scotland, in August but was briefly halted the next month when Holland suffered a mild concussion during a stunt. The screenplay for Brand New Day has been written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, the duo behind No Way Home. Apart from this, Holland will also be seen in Christopher Nolan's upcoming film The Odyssey.
