True crime producer added to FBI's Most Wanted list

Entertainment

Mary Carole McDonnell, the former CEO behind true crime shows like Corrupt Crimes and Murderous Affairs, just landed on the FBI's Most Wanted list.
She's accused of pretending to be an heir to the McDonnell Aircraft Family and using fake documents to score nearly $30 million in loans—money she never paid back.

What happened and where things stand

McDonnell allegedly pulled off this fraud between 2017 and 2018, tricking banks with forged paperwork.
An arrest warrant went out in 2018, but she left for Dubai before her indictment and hasn't been found since.
Now that she's officially on the Most Wanted list (as of December 14, 2025), the FBI is hoping tips from the public will help track her down through tips.fbi.gov.
It's a wild twist for someone who once produced shows about real-life crime.
