Vosloo's Indian debut in 'Ranabaali' unveiled on June 16
Arnold Vosloo (yep, Imhotep from The Mummy) is making his Indian film debut in Ranabaali, a period drama set during the British Raj.
On his birthday (June 16), the first look dropped: Vosloo plays Sir Theodore Hector, a ruthless antagonist known as "The Demon of Drought," shown sitting on an ornate throne with an intense glare and dramatic black cloak.
'Ranabaali' period drama stars Deverakonda Mandanna
Ranabaali takes place in 19th-century India and is inspired by real events from the British era.
Vijay Deverakonda stars as a rebellious freedom fighter, while Rashmika Mandanna plays Jayamma, the emotional heart of the story.
Directed by Rahul Sankrityan (of Taxiwaala fame) and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers, Ranabaali hits theaters worldwide on September 11, 2026.
