Yamazaki open to 'Godzilla Minus Zero' sequel, would be sad

Takashi Yamazaki, the mind behind Godzilla Minus Zero, says he's open to making a sequel, even though he's happy with how the story ended.
"If Godzilla Minus Zero is my last Godzilla film, that would make me a bit sad," he shared, hinting that fans might not have seen the last of his take on Godzilla.
Yamazaki to release 'Grandgear' January 2028
While Godzilla Minus Zero is still playing in theaters, Yamazaki is keeping busy.
His next film, Grandgear, a giant robot movie produced by J.J. Abrams, lands in January 2028.
He's also teaming up with Ridley Scott on a mystery project, so there's plenty more to look forward to from him.
