2,000 people from Andhra Pradesh back home from West Asia
India
Nearly 2,000 people from Andhra Pradesh have made it back from West Asia as of March 10, according to the Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu Society (APNRTS).
Most were tourists or travelers caught up in regional tensions.
Some got government help to return, while others managed on their own through commercial flights.
Situation being watched closely
About 70 people are still waiting in Bahrain but should be home soon.
The good news: APNRTS President Ravi Kumar P Vemuru said no one from Andhra has been hurt in the U.S.-Israel-Iran conflict so far.
Still, he's worried about jobs if travel routes get blocked, even though Gulf companies are offering some support for now.
The situation is being watched closely.
