Suryakumar Yadav became the third Indian captain to lift the coveted cup after Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni. Under Suryakumar, India have become the most lethal side in the shortest format. He has the best win percentage as captain in T20Is (Full Members).

Suryakumar Yadav (India): 80.77%
According to Cricbuzz, Suryakumar currently has a win percentage of 80.77 as India's T20I captain, the highest. He has led India to 42 wins in 52 T20Is so far (including wins in Super Overs). With him at the helm, India have lost only eight games (NR: 2). Suryakumar first led India in 2023 and became the permanent captain after the 2024 T20 WC.

Rohit Sharma (India): 80.65%
Former skipper Rohit Sharma is slightly behind SKY with a win percentage of 80.65. Under him, India won the 2024 T20 World Cup in the Caribbean. He ended India's trophy drought with that cup. Notably, India also became the first side to win the tournament unbeaten. Overall, Rohit won 50 of his 62 T20Is as captain in the format.

According to Cricbuzz, Pakistan's Sarfaraz Ahmed is the only other captain with a win percentage of more than 70 in T20Is. He won 29 of his 37 T20Is while leading, getting a win percentage of 78.38.
