24-hour water cut in Goregaon East today: Check details
Heads up, Goregaon East: BMC has kicked off a 24-hour water cut from 9am on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 to connect a diverted 750mm-diameter water pipeline near the Film City flyover.
Water supply is expected to resume by 9am on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, but until then, several areas in the P East and P South wards will have no water, while other parts may experience low pressure.
Which areas will be affected?
No water at all for places like Shivshahi Project, Shrikrishna Nagar, Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR) (P East), plus Satellite Tower, Santosh Nagar, Mali Nagar, and more in P South.
Some roads, like Mohan Gokhale Road and Krishna Vatika Road, will just have weak flow.
Tips for residents
BMC suggests storing enough water ahead of time since it's hot out.
When supply returns, it might look muddy or take time to get back to normal pressure, so filter or boil before drinking just to be safe.
