Ahmedabad plane crash: Deputy CM's condolence visit
Manisha Thapa, a young cabin crew member from Patna, lost her life in the tragic Air India crash in Ahmedabad. The Boeing 787-8 was headed to London with 242 people on board when it crashed shortly after takeoff, leaving almost no survivors and causing more loss on the ground. Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary visited her family to offer support and called the loss "irreparable."
Manisha lived with her parents in Patna
Manisha had just started her career as cabin crew after graduating in business economics from St. Xavier's College, Patna. She lived with her parents—her father is a Bihar Police officer and her mother is a homemaker—in Mahuabagh, Jagdeo Path. Her sudden passing has left both her family and local community heartbroken.
Air India is assisting affected families
Air India is helping families of those affected and is involved in organizing relief efforts as investigations continue into the crash.
