Air India cuts narrowbody flights following earlier reduction

India

Air India is trimming nearly 5% of its narrowbody flights until at least July 2025 to keep schedules reliable and avoid last-minute chaos.
This follows an earlier cut in international flights as part of a broader effort to stabilize operations and uphold safety standards.
The airline says it's all about making flying safer and more predictable for everyone.

Air India offering free rescheduling, refunds, or help with new bookings

Three daily routes—Bengaluru-Singapore, Pune-Singapore, and Mumbai-Bagdogra—are on pause, and 19 other domestic or short international routes are seeing fewer flights (like Delhi-Mumbai dropping from 176 to 165 per week).
If your plans are affected, Air India is offering free rescheduling, refunds, or help with new bookings.
They're promising to bring back full service as soon as possible but say safety comes first.
