Air India reduces domestic flight services

Air India is temporarily cutting under 5% of its narrow-body flights until at least July 15, 2025, following an earlier 15% reduction in widebody international services.
The goal? Fewer last-minute disruptions and a more reliable schedule for everyone.

TL;DR

Air India will still operate nearly 600 daily flights

Flights on three major routes—Bengaluru-Singapore, Pune-Singapore, and Mumbai-Bagdogra—are paused for now.
Plus, frequencies are dropping on 19 other routes; Delhi-Mumbai goes from 176 to 165 weekly trips, while Delhi-Goa is halved.
Still, Air India will run nearly 600 daily flights across 120 routes and is reaching out to affected passengers with options like rebooking or refunds.

Check your flight status if you're flying soon

If you're flying soon or planning a trip with Air India, double-check your flight status.
The changes are meant to make flying less stressful overall—even if it means some short-term tweaks now.
