Monsoon expected in North Indian regions, IMD forecasts

Big weather update! The IMD says the southwest monsoon is set to reach Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Jammu & Kashmir, and western Uttar Pradesh by June 24.
So if you're in north or northwest India, expect rainy days ahead as the monsoon moves in over the next few days.

The monsoon has already arrived in much of Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, and Kashmir.
Heavy rain is on the cards for northwest India until June 26.
Northeast states are also gearing up for downpours and storms—plus there are alerts for strong winds in Maharashtra and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
