Air purifiers fly off shelves as North India battles toxic air

India

Air pollution in North India is getting worse, and people aren't taking any chances—demand for air purifiers has shot up, especially in cities like Delhi and across the NCR.
With PM2.5 levels rising and health risks on everyone's mind (particularly for kids and older folks), more families are investing in these devices to breathe a little easier.

Big spike in sales across cities—and not just Delhi

It's not just the capital feeling the crunch.
Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Kolkata have all seen a major jump in air purifier sales—Amazon India says demand from Delhi-NCR alone is up 20 times, with Mumbai and Kolkata also seeing a 2.5X rise in demand, according to Amazon India.
Even tier-2 cities like Jaipur and Lucknow are catching on fast, with awareness growing and both premium and budget models experiencing significant overall sales increases.
