Al-Falah University founder linked to Red Fort blast suspects: Report
Javed Ahmed Siddiqui, who started Al-Falah University in Faridabad, is being investigated for allegedly scamming investors out of ₹7.5 crore through fake investment schemes involving the Al-Falah group of companies, to which he is linked via the Al-Falah Charitable Trust.
Authorities are also checking where the university's money came from and whether there are links to suspects in the Red Fort blast case.
Siddiqui was arrested in 2001
Siddiqui was arrested back in 2001 but got bail after agreeing to return some money.
Most of his businesses—mainly in education and energy—have shut down since 2019, except for a medical research foundation still running on campus (now under NAAC scrutiny).
The investigation also points to possible use of forged documents in these alleged scams.
