Arunachal tragedy: 18 workers killed as truck falls into gorge

A minitruck carrying 22 laborers from Assam's Tinsukia district veered off a mountain road and plunged into a gorge in Arunachal Pradesh's Anjaw district on Monday night, near the Indo-China border.
Eighteen workers lost their lives, and three are still missing after the crash.

Survivor sparks rescue efforts; search ongoing

The only survivor managed to reach a nearby camp two days later and alert authorities, helping them find the hidden crash site in dense forest.
He received medical care and was taken to Assam for treatment.
Meanwhile, rescue teams—including the Army and local police—are still searching tough terrain for the missing workers.
