Arunachal truck accident: 14 dead, 7 missing; search underway

A tragic accident in Arunachal Pradesh saw a truck carrying 22 workers from Assam's Tinsukia district skid off a mountain road and plunge into a gorge.
Fourteen people have sadly lost their lives, while seven are still missing.
Local officials confirmed the incident on Thursday.

The Indian Army has launched an intensive search operation in the tough Chaglagam terrain—so far, 14 bodies have been recovered and one person was found alive.
