Bay of Bengal low brings rain Monday in south Bengal

Heads up, West Bengal: starting Monday, a fresh low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal will bring more rain to south West Bengal districts, with heavy rain possible in some areas of south Bengal.
Kolkata can expect scattered showers, too, as the monsoon trough stays active.
Fishermen warned off sea till Monday
The weather shake-up comes from a cyclonic circulation near the West Bengal and Bangladesh coasts, plus an active monsoon trough stretching across much of North India.
Heavy rain may occur in some areas of south Bengal on Monday.
Gusty winds are hitting coastal areas (35 to 45km/h), and fishermen have been told to stay off the sea till Monday for safety.
