Bihar: Teen killed by friend over T20 World Cup match
During the India-New Zealand T20 World Cup match in Bihar's Vaishali district, a 17-year-old speech-impaired boy named Kundan Kumar was allegedly beaten to death by his neighbor, also 17.
The fight started when Kundan shouted after India lost a wicket: something his neighbor, Kisan Kumar, misunderstood as celebrating.
Things got heated quickly, and Kisan reportedly hit Kundan and pushed him onto a stone, causing fatal head injuries.
Police are searching for the accused
Kundan was rushed to the hospital but sadly died on the way. The incident has left the local community shocked and the victim's family devastated.
Police have registered a case and are searching for Kisan (also reported as Kishan) and conducting raids to apprehend him.
Investigators are collecting evidence at the scene as part of their ongoing probe into what police described as a tragic scuffle between friends watching cricket.
