Bihar woman weds nephew-in-law amid family presence
In a surprising turn, Ayushi Kumari from Bihar married her nephew-in-law, Sachin Dubey, right in front of her estranged husband, Vishal Dubey, and their daughter at a local temple.
The June 20 ceremony quickly caught attention after a video went viral.
Here's how the couple met
Ayushi and Vishal Dubey had marriage troubles. During their separation, Ayushi connected with Sachin on social media and the two started a relationship.
She eloped with him on June 15, filed for divorce from Vishal, and chose not to take custody of her daughter before marrying Sachin with family approval.
What the husband and wife have to say
Sachin shared that he's been with Ayushi for two years and promised to look after her.
Vishal said he has no complaints now—"Ayushi is Sachin's responsibility."
This isn't the first time something like this has happened in Bihar; last year, another husband let his wife marry her lover too.
