Bungee cord snaps in Rishikesh, Gurugram man seriously hurt

A 24-year-old from Gurugram, Sonu Kumar, had a terrifying fall when his bungee cord broke mid-jump at Apara Amusement Thrill Factory in Rishikesh.
He ended up with broken ribs and a fractured hand. Thankfully, his condition is now stable.

Safety crackdown after the accident

Local authorities have launched an investigation and paused all bungee jumping at the site for now.
They're also planning a full safety audit of adventure sports centers across the district to make sure rules are being followed.
