Chhattisgarh minister Kedar Kashyap escapes injury in Bastar crash

Chhattisgarh Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap had a close call on Sunday when an SUV crashed into his car and escort vehicle in Bastar district.
He was heading from his hometown, Farsaguda, to Kondagaon when the accident happened between two villages.
Six people, including his assistant and security staff, were hurt, but Kashyap is safe.
SUV driver detained after 6 injured
The injured include Kashyap's personal assistant, Anurag Sharma; escort vehicle driver Sunil Kumar Maurya; and four police personnel.
They were taken to Kondagaon district hospital, the Medical College Hospital at Dimrapal in Bastar, and Anurag Sharma was referred to a higher medical facility in Raipur.
Police have detained the SUV driver and started investigating how it all went down.
