India
Mizoram just launched its self-enumeration phase for the 2027 census, letting people fill in their census details online before the usual door-to-door visits begin.
Chief Minister Lalduhoma started things off right from his official residence, using a brand-new digital portal, a first for India's 16th census.
Mizoram portal supports 16 languages
The portal is open from April 1 to April 15 and supports 16 languages, making it easy and secure for everyone to participate.
Key officials, including Home Minister K Sapdanga and PWD Minister Vanlalhlana, have already jumped in.
This move aims to make data collection smoother and more efficient for everyone in Mizoram.
