CJP rejects Mohandas Pai's advice for 'Thik karo' school campaign
The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) just rejected Mohandas Pai's suggestions for its School Thik Karo campaign, which spotlights the rough state of government schools.
Pai had recommended splitting volunteer teams and getting permission respectfully after CJP volunteers were attacked while on their way to inspect a government school in Jaipur's Bagru assembly constituency; one even ended up with a fractured arm.
CJP vows to expose unsafe schools
CJP chief spokesperson Saurav Das said Pai's approach was "slow, boring, unconnected to reality," pointing out that similar efforts by the NITI Aayog and independent NGOs haven't worked before.
Despite the risks, CJP says it is determined to keep exposing unsafe school conditions so students don't have to study in sheds or unsafe buildings.
