Cold wave chills Andhra Pradesh: Temps drop below normal

India

Andhra Pradesh is feeling extra chilly this December, with temperatures dipping well below the usual in both the north and Rayalaseema.
The IMD says this cold snap will stick around until at least December 25, so don't pack away your sweaters just yet.

How cold is it really?

Some spots are seriously shivering—Jangamaheswarapuram hit 13°C (that's over 4°C below normal), while Dalapathiguda dropped to a frosty 3.3°C.
Even big cities aren't spared: Vijayawada saw lows of 17.7°C, and Visakhapatnam hovered between 14-17°C.
Basically, most of Andhra Pradesh is waking up to colder mornings than usual this week!
