Cyclone Ditwah brings rain and warnings to Andhra Pradesh

Cyclone Ditwah is still making its presence felt along Andhra Pradesh's coast, with light rain hitting areas like SPSR Nellore after earlier heavy showers.
Rainfall on Monday morning ranged from 11mm to over 22mm in different parts of Nellore district.

Weather alerts and safety steps

The IMD has put Tirupati and SPSR Nellore on orange alert for more heavy rain, while several other districts are on yellow alert.
Strong winds up to 60km/h are expected on December 2.
Fishermen in Prakasam have been told to move their boats and nets to safer spots, just in case the weather takes a turn.
The good news: the cyclone is weakening and should lose strength before Tuesday morning.
