Delhi: 6-year-old boy mauled by pitbull while playing cricket

In Prem Nagar, Delhi, a six-year-old named Devansh was attacked by a neighbor's pitbull on November 23 while he was playing cricket outside his home.
The dog bit him badly, even severing his right ear.
Quick-thinking neighbors rushed in to help and saved the ear for doctors.

Devansh is being treated at Safdarjung Hospital after an initial stop at BSA Hospital.
Police have seized the pitbull and filed a case against its owner, Rajesh Pal.
The Delhi High Court has stepped in too—asking for updates from police and local authorities, and ordering better safety measures so something like this doesn't happen again.
Meanwhile, Devansh's dad is seeking compensation for medical bills and calling out gaps in how dog ownership rules are enforced.
