Delhi blast: Car dealer detained for probe

India

Delhi Police have detained Amit, a Faridabad car dealer, for allegedly helping sell the Hyundai i20 used in the Red Fort blast on Monday that killed 12 people.
Amit runs Royal Car Plaza and was picked up from his office as part of the ongoing investigation into how the attackers got hold of the vehicle.

Investigators are checking car's ownership records

Investigators are digging into the car's ownership records and checking CCTV footage at Royal Car Plaza to trace everyone involved in its sale.
They're especially focused on how Dr. Umar Nabi, suspected of driving during the blast, ended up with the car and identifying possible intermediaries involved in the sale.
