Delhi is gearing up for a big Diwali bash on December 10

Delhi will light up with Diwali celebrations across the city on December 10, just as it hosts a major UNESCO heritage meet for the first time.
The government's been asked to organize festivities at famous monuments, all timed with India's push to get Diwali and Chhath Mahaparv recognized on UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage list.
